Greetings, citizens,
In version 37.9, we’re happy to introduce a highly anticipated feature: the speed modifier. You can now customise your battle experience by choosing your game speed, allowing you to play at your preferred pace. But that’s not all! We’ve also streamlined the shop with convenient subtabs for easier item discovery. Plus, we’ve made sure that tooltips on PC are now a breeze to access – simply hover, no need to click. So, without further ado, let’s dive into the details:
User Interface:
- Fixed an issue where the underline of the campaign buttons appeared incomplete in several languages
- Implemented a change to PC Tooltips, making them appear on hover rather than requiring a click for activation.
- Updated the App Icon – The Prodigal Son has returned!
Gameplay:
Introduced a core game speed modifier with three options for speed. First, the base game’s base speed has been slightly increased, alongside a faster mode that maintains excellent readability, and an even quicker setting tailored for seasoned veterans. This will be accessible from Rank 10 onwards. Note that the speed modifier does not apply to PvP events to maintain a balanced gameplay experience, but the PvP core speed will be slightly higher than the new base speed.

Shop and Items:
Added subtabs to the shop interface, improving navigation and making it easier for players to find their desired items.

Leaderboard:
- Resolved an issue where the position in the leaderboard would incorrectly display as 0% after position 50.
- Fixed the bug where the ranked mode leaderboard was not functioning properly.
- Resolved inconsistencies in the leaderboard’s display rankings between the leaderboard and the campaign capsule
We hope you enjoy these improvements and fixes in version 37.9. Keep battling, and may the Emperor protect you!
Was very excited for this until I tried to use it and almost had a seizure from how fast the effects were flickering. Who on earth signed this feature off? At best you will give people migraines at worst you could trigger someone’s epilepsy
Geee let’s complain about something that EVERYONE wanted. Devs. > Great job.
Great changes, the speed of games is one I’m most happy about!
In the future can you look into letting us see individual users participation in clan events? Lots of the top clans do this manually which takes a lot of time. It’s something that’s already happening in the game so a way to actually quickly read it would be much appreciated.
That speed modifier button is *ugly* have you considered moving it off the game board?
I really like the speed increase option, but you need to.do.something about the high flicker rate. The graphics are nice, but at high game speed it is like looking at a strobe light. Please see if you can do something about that.
Also please release more cards into the general pool. There are way too many cards only available through purchase. 🙁
Ok
I love the speed – best feature ever and sooooooo needed! However I echo everyone else – the strobing needs to be held at normal speed while everything else should be fast. It’s insane to look at!
What’s with the 1000 wins required in the PvP sync event rewards for the final reward?
Each time you win you get a reward, the final reward is a catch all. You can win it 1000 times, getting that gold each time. It’s just worded weirdly.
I dont see a problem with the speed feature although 3x is too fast but there is a 2x option ya know people and thats the sweet spot.
Nice to see some new xenos in combat patrol, tucked behind a paywall of course, still much needed. Its a drop of water in a desert tho.
Syc pvp matches have been:
7 helbrects
5 greyfax
3 of the space wolves warlod
1 illiac nightspear
1 wortsnagga
1 captain acheran
Its obivuous SM is so inflated and stacked with powered creep cards no other xenos can compete and its just greyfax and helbrect and space marine melee on repeat. This game is gonna die oif the xenos player abbadon playing and its all space marone and servant decks
Its for a single coin. Its jist infinitely open with no end reward so players can keep fighting after claiming qll rewards if they want
Hello what I am I doing
Great job on the speed modifier feature!
It’s obvious every time Sync PvP happens that space marines have all the good cards.
Let’s compare some legendary warlords:
Helbrecht (lvl13)
34 cost 315 Wounds
35 Ranged 0 Psychic 96 Melee
3 Traits
Mark of the Exemplar (When a space marine kills something in melee it gets a mark, each mark increases ALL friendly attack power by 15%) Note: These marks stack. I have seen many battles where damage is in the 200s on low level cards.
Inspiring Presence (+30% attack) Effectively makes his attack stats 45.5 Ranged 124.8 Melee
Furious Charge (100% melee attack when hitting the board)
Logan Grimnar (lvl 13)
49 Cost 384 Wounds
50 Ranged 0 Psychic 126 Melee
3 Traits
Savage Fury (When you overkill with melee, 150% of the remaining damage is transferred to an adjacent enemy) A side note here, the overflow damage bypasses Shielded. I have killed many shielded cards without having to worry about their shielding by using this strategy.
Furious Charge (100% melee attack when hitting the board)
Berserk (+12 to attack stats after taking damage)
The Swarmlord (lvl 13)
70 Cost 430 Wounds
0 Ranged 82 Psychic 126 Melee
3 Traits
Adaptive Strategy (at the end of the opponents turn debuff the attack type they used by 15%)
Shielded (Prevent up to 60% of this cards starting health in damage on the next 4 attacks)
Inspiring Presence (+30% attack) Effectively makes his attack stats 106.6 Psychic 163.8 Melee
Fury of the Craftworld (lvl 13)
73 Cost 395 Wounds
75 Ranged 0 Psychic 128 Melee
3 Traits
Call of War (When a card is destroyed randomly give one of your deployed Aeldari +15 melee attack) Oh how I LOATHE the “random”.
Inspiring Presence (+30% attack) Effectively makes his attack stats 97.5 Ranged 166.4 Melee
Fear (Reduce the attack stats of the card directly across from this one by 50%)
I have used and faced each of these warlords in battle many times. I’ll tell you right now. I’d rather face Fury of the Craftworld than facing Helbrecht. Helbrecht is overpowered. With very little effort you can quickly stack marks and steam roll your opponents. With a bit of thought you can use various means to choose which marines stack the marks and then protect them ensuring lots of damage and little risk.
Logan Grimnar’s Savage Fury, as mentioned above, bypasses shielded. Also, if you use a slight amount of effort you can abuse the fact that the overkill damage is multiplied easily sweeping the board clear.
Swarmlord’s ability is practically a joke. Debuffing an enemy AFTER they have attacked you is laughable. Helbrecht overrides the debuff with a single mark and as mentioned above he can stack many of them throughout a battle. Making the warlord who costs 36 more points than him a huge joke.
Fury of the Craftworld’s ability is too “random” to be relied upon. So so so so so many times it gives the melee bonus to my lowest health card (read: to the card that will be killed on the counterattack this very turn making the boost USELESS!!!!!!) To be fair it even sometimes gives the boost to a card that hasn’t attacked yet! Making it almost useful sometimes. But then you face Helbrecht and he gets +15% to ALL attack power for ALL his cards on the board and makes your +15 flat damage look like a joke, because it is. A huge joke on the second highest costing Warlord in the game(only losing to the newly released ULTRA MARINES warlord who costs 100, but let’s not talk about that ridiculous monster).
If you’re going to tell me that having higher stats justifies the higher costs… Well, when your warlord hits the board while the opponent still has 2-5 cards still in his deck because his warlord’s trait made his bodyguards overpowered monsters that wiped the floor with what you could still afford after picking the warlord… well you’re gonna need all those stats to pretend you can put up a fight as you are stomped into space marine tread patterns.
Bottom line: This is just some warlords, the bodyguards are equally unbalanced in cost and ability in favor of the space marines.
Space Marines have everything going for them because that’s how the designers intend it to be.
