We’ll shortly be rolling out Enhancements to all remaining Bodyguards.
Epic, Rare, and Common cards will soon have Enhancements available, bringing every rarity in line with Warlord and Legendary cards.
It’s been some time since Legendary Enhancements launched. That gap has allowed us to review how the system performs at scale and make sure the full rollout happens in a way that’s consistent, balanced, and clearly understood.
Release Timing
Enhancements for all remaining cards will go live in one week:
Thursday, April 2nd
Why Release Everything at Once
We’re releasing all remaining Enhancements in a single update for three key reasons.
Game Balance
With Legendary Bodyguards having access to Enhancements over the past few months, it’s clear the balance of the game has shifted even more heavily in their favour. Bringing all rarities up to the same system as quickly as possible restores a better balance across the whole card roster.
Clarity and Certainty
Staggered releases has created ongoing uncertainty. This rollout removes that. Every rarity gets access at the same time, with no waiting or ambiguity.
Immediate Progression
All cards will be able to start progressing into Enhancements and new levels right away, allowing players to build their collections efficiently without further delay.
We also recognise that unlocking Enhancements across your entire collection is a lot to keep track of. To keep this manageable:
- Enhancement notifications will only appear directly on cards (via the red cog icon)
- They will not contribute to collection-wide notification count
This ensures that upgrades are visible without creating unnecessary noise.
What to Expect
Following the Legendary rollout, it was clear we didn’t explain the changes to level structures clearly enough, particularly how level boundaries shifted when Enhancements were introduced.
We want to make sure that this is very clear:
Your overall card copies will remain the same.
However:
Some cards may have their upgrades changed.
This is expected.
When Enhancements were first introduced, the level structure for all cards was redesigned to accommodate them:
- Level requirements were made smoother and less exponential
- Three Enhancement levels were added, evenly distributed throughout the level tree
- Only the final Enhancement level requires more total copies than the previous max level
Because of this:
- Existing cards have been effectively sitting in a reduced level range until Enhancements are made available
- With the full system now unlocking, those extra levels are being “reinserted”
This means that while your card may be at the same level, the upgrades unlocked will likely not be the same:
- The total number of copies you own has not changed
- The total progression toward max remains equivalent to the original requirements
Think of it as the scale expanding back to previous levels, not your progress shrinking.
Why This Happened
Between the initial rollout and now, there has effectively been a period where:
- Progression was faster because three Enhancement levels were not yet accessible
With the full system now live:
- That temporary acceleration is normalised
- The full progression path becomes available
This does change where upgrades appear on the level tree, but not the total value you’ve earned. Effectively your progress is at the same position it would have been under the previous tree, but with two additional enhancement upgrades included, and a final enhancement level available at the end.
Level Structure Changes
Below are the updated level structures for Epic, Rare, and Common Bodyguards.
Epic Bodyguards
Example:
To illustrate the changes over time, here’s an example using an Epic card with 110 copies:
Before Enhancements (Pre–Aug 2025)
- Level 9
- Trait 1 Lv.3, Trait 2 Lv.1
- 15 spare copies
After Warlord Enhancements (Aug 2025 – Now)
- Level 10
- Trait 1 Lv.3, Trait 2 Lv.1
- +1 stat level gained
- 10 spare copies
With Epic Enhancements (April 2026 Onwards)
- Level 10
- Trait 1 Lv.3, Trait 2 Lv.1
- +1 Enhancement unlocked
- 10 spare copies
Change at this step:
- One stat level replaced by an Enhancement
- Total copies and overall progress remain unchanged
Looking at the same card across the full timeline:
- Compared to 9 months ago (pre-enhancements), with no additional copies gained, that card has:
- +1 level
- +1 Enhancement
- 10 spare copies remaining
Even though individual rewards may shift between levels during this rollout, the overall progression is strictly higher than it was before Enhancements existed.
Rare Bodyguards
Common Bodyguards
Excess Copies and Immediate Upgrades
If you previously had:
- Cards at max level under the old system (before Aug 2025), or
- Extra copies beyond what was required for the interim max level
Those copies are still fully retained.
As a result, when the update goes live:
- Some cards may have multiple upgrades immediately available
- Many cards will have some Enhancements instantly unlocked on login
Enhancement Reroll Costs
Like with Legendary reroll costs compared to Warlords the remaining rarity reroll costs scale down depending on their Rarity:
| Enhancement Rarity | Reroll Cost |
| Warlord | 100 |
| Legendary | 50 |
| Epic | 30 |
| Rare | 20 |
| Common | 10 |
Event Release Bonuses
To support the rollout, and make the transition smoother, we’re running several events and bonuses starting April 2nd.
We understand this is a large system change, and we want players to be able to engage with it immediately and meaningfully.
Free Wildcards
All players will receive:
- 50 True Wildcards
This gives you direct control over which cards to upgrade and helps level up key cards right away. The pack will be available to claim in the shop for free once the changes have rolled out.
50% Off Enhancements (April 2nd – 9th)
- All Enhancement rerolls are half price
- Applies to all rarities, including existing Warlord and Legendary Enhancements
3x Card Event (April 2nd – 6th)
- Earn triple card rewards
This will function as a normal x3 event with the goal of giving everyone boosted progress and help catch up where needed.
Moving Forward Together
This is a significant update, and we know there’s a lot to take in.
The most important point to reinforce is this:
Your progress has not been reduced, but the system around it has expanded and been restored to previous requirements.
We’ll be closely monitoring feedback following the release. If anything is unclear, or you have questions, please reach out, we want to make sure the system is fully understood as well as fully functional.
