This system adds a powerful layer of strategic depth, allowing you to fine-tune your favourite cards, unlock powerful stat boosts, and adapt your deck like never before.

What Are Enhancements?
Enhancements are passive bonuses you can apply to your Warlords, granting boosts to the core stats Wounds, Ranged, Melee, Psychic. They’re separate from standard card leveling, giving you brand-new ways to shape and strengthen your decks.
Every card gets three Enhancement slots, and each slot lets you pick from two randomized upgrade options, offering tactical flexibility and personalization.
Want to boost your durability? Stack Wounds. Want more firepower? Go all-in on Melee or Ranged. The choice is yours.
How Do I Unlock Enhancements?
Enhancements are unlocked through new card levels:
- Warlord Cards: go from 13 → 16 levels
Each of the three new levels unlocks one Enhancement slot, and they follow the same upgrade system using coins and duplicate cards. Importantly, your card’s existing progress stays intact — two enhancements are available before the current final trait upgrade and do not cost any additional resources.
Therefore, cards currently at max level will start with two enhancements already unlocked, and any card not yet at max level will stay at the same relative level and find that individual upgrades are now cheaper.
One final new level is being added beyond the current max level for the third and final enhancement slot.

How Do Enhancements Work?
Once a slot is unlocked, you’ll be shown two random enhancement options tailored to the card’s stats. You pick one, and that stat bonus is applied immediately.
Enhancement Types at Launch:
Wounds
Melee
Ranged
Psychic
Boost All (Omni) – a balanced stat boost
Each Enhancement comes in three rarities:

These stat changes are integrated into the card’s base stats, meaning they appear directly in your collection and on the battlefield with no floating green or red numbers. And yes, they work in all game modes, including Ranked, Campaign, and Events.
Can I Change Enhancements Later?
Absolutely. You can reroll Enhancements at any time. Rerolling costs plasma and offers two new options. If you already have an active Enhancement, you’ll also get the option to keep your current one with no risk of losing progress.
And if something goes wrong (disconnect, misclick), don’t worry—the roll is saved until you make your choice.
Phased Rollout: Starting With Warlords
Given the size and importance of this update, we’re taking a phased approach. To start, only Warlords will receive Enhancements. If all goes well, we’ll look to expand Enhancements to bodyguards as well.
This lets us fine-tune balance and ensure a smooth integration across the game.
Track Enhancements In-Game
Enhancements will be visually represented on each card, both in your collection and in battle. When you tap an enemy card, you’ll see their active Enhancements just like any other status effect.

This seems like a pretty cool update. Been playing for years and new cards only offer so much “wow” factor. There have been upgrades to the gameplay to keep things engaging, but this seems like a hard upgrade to the game. Excited to see how it pans out. The only thing I’m not a huge fan of is plasma for currency. The game is already a money sink and coins would have been a more rewarding way to go about. Now you have to balance upgrading cards and enhancements. Plasma is just another money grab on a small community.
Hell yeah, my purse is already wide open and cant wait for it.
